4X will share underpinnings with the 2
nd-generation
Cadillac SRX, using a heavily modified Theta architecture that incorporates elements of Epsilon 2. It will be offered with Saab's XMD all-wheel-drive system. A 250-horsepower diesel version is believed to be in the works.

4X will be built in Ramos, Mexico.
